1. I don’t know when fig season is. They are rarely in the grocery store so when I see them: automatic buy. (I want to say no matter the cost but let’s not tempt fate). They are best eaten on their own
.
2. Project Hail Mary. Sorry, this is so far out of date, but if you haven’t seen this movie? You must. All five of us love it, which never happens. New favorite movie of all time? We have a contender
3. We went to Costa Rica. I hope I am the type of person who swims in the ocean waves until I die (not in the ocean).

4. ER is on Netflix! I loved this show growing up. And spoiler alert: it totally holds up. Every once and awhile there is a story line that makes me cringe and then a few episodes later they complicate the situation. These days you can tell within a couple lines of dialogue who the expected audience is progressive or conservative. But back in the 90s everyone watched the same shows. The storytelling had to speak to everyone. It feels like such a fine line to walk these days, but how are we to survive if we can’t start breaking out of this false dichotomy: everything must fit into one of two boxes conservative or progressive. I’m not talking about some vague both sides bullshit. I’m talking about writing about what reminds us of what it means to be human. Speaking of humans: it is so nice to see women’s faces move.
